At Southbourne Removals, we offer a far more simple approach to your traditional removals and storage in Dorset.
We will pack up your property, and dismantle any furniture you have, to keep things stress free for you. At your delivery address we will place and reassemble all your furniture so you are ready for your first night in your new place.
Speak to our team in the office, who will go through every detail of your move and create a bespoke move plan for you. We will then send one of the friendliest and skilled removals team in Dorset to your property, to make sure move day is stress free.

Preparation the day before
For most moves, we’ll swing by the day before to start preparing. This will include tasks such as dismantling furniture you won’t need on your final night, so the move day runs smoothly.
Arrive at your new address
Now that we have arrived at your new property, we’ll get started on placing and reassembling all of your furniture. We’ll place your moving boxes in the right room, then leave you to get cracking on the unpacking.
Load the van with your belongings
To make sure that your belongings arrive at your new property in one piece, we’ll wrap all furniture in blankets when carefully loading up the van. Once loaded, we’ll begin the journey to your new address.
Pick up your empty boxes
As part of our service, we’ll arrange free collection to pick up your empty, flattened down boxes – just give us a shout when you’re finished with them!

Man and Van Hourly Rate
As an alternative to fixed price moves, we offer the flexibility of our man and van service which is charged at hourly, half day and full day rates. This includes a van, two men and up to 100 miles travel.
This vehicle is big enough for even the most demanding of jobs, typically holding the contents of a 2-3 bed property or can be used for smaller / single item delivery jobs.
We also offer clearance services based on these rates plus cost of landfill disposal where applicable. Variations and additional mileage can be quoted on request.
